Our story
Mini Schnauzers are not new to our family, however, while our children grew, we had other loves. My husband was a K9 officer for years, so our family had big bundles of joy during that time. When our children chose a Rat Terrier as their cuddler we were happy for 16+ years to have Wonka in our family. Bella, our rescue mix, kept him young until his passing. After time, our hearts needed re-filling, thus we decided to go back to our beloved Schnauzers. We brought Loki, our male Wheaten, into our family three plus years ago. He is the sweetest dispositioned baby, with a super soft mega coat. Others fall in love with his personality and wish he was theirs. With his temperament, kind heart, healthy history and traits, it got my mind thinking that I indeed needed to share him with other families. We searched high and low and finally found his perfect mate. Pico, our beautiful salt and pepper parti is just that. Her personality is just as affectionate, loyal, and adventruous as Loki's. Her mega coat is a bit wavier, but just as soft. We waited until we confirmed she was suited for mating, Loki was finally given permission
We are located in the beautiful pacific northwest. A secluded ten acres in Deer Park, Washington just north of Spokane. We have fenced almost two acres to allow plenty of romping. The dogs are socialized with our grands from birth, along with the chickens, cats, and friends. They have Max, my dad’s salt and pepper schnauzer, to play with as well. They get along great with all ages as my parents live on our property while my inlaws and our adult children and toddler grandchildren visit often. Loki, Pico, Bella, and our cat, Mischief, all sleep cuddled next to me in our bed. They have an enclosed dog area right off our bedroom with a dog door for access at night and when we venture to town, otherwise they are free to roam the fenced acreage. We camp often, well, glamp in our 5th wheel. The dogs all love going with us and enjoy trailing behind in their trailer when we bike. Adventures abound in the summer months, with quieter times in winter. Mischief will be joining the family camping next year as she loved it when she was younger.
We encourage and welcome FB messenger video calling to help you feel more at ease with us and our family.
We will gladly show off our babies, their nursery area, and our home.
Please, come visit us in person after the puppies are 6 weeks old. This is for their safety.
